Lady Bubug by RitaSilvestre Lady Bubug by RitaSilvestre
massive work!

All the ladybug and the leave are made TOTALLY in PENCIL COLOR.

the background its with pastels

the size is A1, means that the ladybug is 2 times bigger than my head

took a lot of time to do and used a photo as reference :D

Very beautiful piece of art work! Good job with the detail too. The coloring on the Ladybug gives it a realistic look as well as the lighting and shading. I think maybe smoothing in the colors more, if that's possible, would have given it more of a realistic look to it as well. Background looks very beautiful as well. I'm not sure what you were going with for the background, it could be just a themed background that fits with the image and it does in fact fit! Normally you would have to have a realistic background to match the image but you did a very good job with getting the background to match! Everything else looks really good! :) Keep it up!

This is a really fine piece of work for something so huge. o-o

I love how you made the ladybug reflective, and the black of the background contrasts really well with the whole image to bring out the subject.

Amazingly well done, keep it up~

Haha, handy as I may be with Photomanipulations, I'm not too fantastic with traditional art, so kudos to you!

I love your photomanipulations!

Haha, thanks for that! I hope so. I haven't gotten the hang of making things reflective yet, so I've got to work on that a bit.

Thanks!

They're cute, but they do bite a lot in a mating frenzy.
...Kinda turned off by them since...

I know! It's weird. They don't bite.
It's only when they get into a giant mating swarm, and then they get confused.
And frustrated.
Totally calm otherwise.
